MONTHLY MEETING

Our monthly meetings are held at The METHODIST CHURCH Wellington, on the 2nd Thursday of the month starting at 2.00PM. Visitors Welcome. £2.50 members, £3.50 visitors.

Our last outings were a visit to Stokesay Castle and Ludlow in October 2022 and Hereford Cathedral in May 2023.

Our pre Christmas shopping trip to Trentham Village in November 2023 was a great success.

Our next outing will be in the Spring of 2025.

RUBY ANNIVERSARY

We celebrated 40 years of the u3a in the UK on Thursday 8th September 2022. The members were joined by the deputy Mayor of Wellington Cllr Anthony Lowe, the Mayor of Telford and Wrekin Cllr Raj Mehta, the Minister Rev. Roger Dunlop and the Custodian Mrs Barbara Murray of the Wellington Methodist Church.

Wellington Midsummer Fayre

We were pleased to be part of the fun with our stall at the Wellington Midsummer Fayre in 2025. We met many prospective members and exceeded our last year's total funds raised from our sale of books, crafts and plants.

10th ANNIVERSARY 2024 10th Anniversary Celebration

Our branch of u3a celebrated it's 10th year at our October meeting in 2024. We were joined by the High Sheriff of Shropshire, the deputy Mayor of Wellington, the Regional Trustee for the u3a West Midlands Region, the Custodian and lay preachers of the Wellington Methodist church.
